Today I’m sharing a personal story with you. Back in February I had an unfortunate accident that resulted in breaking my ankle in three places. I’ve you’ve ever had an injury like that you know that it affects your entire life for weeks and weeks after!

I had to be non weight bearing for 6 weeks and it was tough. And I’m still in the recovery process getting back to walking and being able to function normally.

I decided to share this story with you for a few reasons.

One is, that I want you to know that being spiritual doesn’t mean everything is perfect!

And at the same time, being spiritual does mean that you see everything as a spiritual growth opportunity. And that’s exactly how I approached this experience. I want to share with you some of the blessings this challenging experience brought to my life, and the growth I gained from it that likely wouldn’t have come in any other way.
