Your Old Life is Gone. Now It’s Time To Step In To Who You’re Meant To Be

I’ve noticed a theme in the clients that come into my world. They are going through a time of transition. In those moments of big change, such as health issues, loss of a loved one, divorce, moving to a new city - it can cause an inner shake up, or even a loss of identity.

You’re not the person you used to be, yet haven’t landed on solid ground yet to know the new person that you are. When I am in those moments, I know I have a tendency to look back at the past. The things I’m missing in the present, I will think of times in the past when I had them.

Not productive for sure!

But it’s understandable if you do this too. Change can be disconcerting.

And the way things are in 2025 - many of you are going through big changes both on the outer level and the inner level.

So I wanted to address this today and bring you some reassurance.

Because, truly — when the things from the past have fallen away, it’s actually a time for celebration. It means you’re now able to step into the growth, freedom, and life you’re meant for.

I know it probably doesn’t seem like that right now though!

Going through a separation of my marriage in 2018 was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I knew for about 3 years prior to that I needed to leave, but I was scared of all the things that would fall apart if I did! Parenting would change, my financial situation would change, my living situation would change, I would be running my business alone instead of with a spouse..

And yet now, looking back, I can see how every one of those changes was beautiful in its own way. My life became so much better than the version I was clinging to. And I became a better, more authentic version of myself.
