I want to share something that comes up all the time with so many of the men and women I work with.
Have you ever asked your angels (or guides, or Spirit) for help…
and then felt frustrated because you weren’t getting a clear answer?
Often, it’s because of the way the question is being phrased.
Asking your angels what you “should” do is usually a big no-no. When we ask it that way, we tend to get confusing answers—or more often, no answer at all.
So what do you do instead?
That’s exactly what my newest YouTube video is about.
In it, I talk about why your angels aren’t here to boss you around or make decisions for you—and why that’s actually one of the most loving things about them. I also share how guidance really works, what your role is in the process, and why getting clear about what you want changes everything.
This perspective was a complete game-changer for me, especially when I realized:
• I’m still the one in the driver’s seat
• My angels support my choices—they don’t override them
• Vague questions usually lead to vague (or no) answers
The truth is, you can ask your angels for their opinion on things.
I’ve asked my angels for guidance around some big decisions at major turning points in my life. I asked them whether it was in my best interests to stay in my marriage many years ago.
I asked when the best time would be to sell my house and move.
I asked whether it was in my best interests to take a trip home to New Zealand by myself in 2026—even though I felt so guilty about leaving my son and partner behind.
You can ask these kinds of questions. The key is learning how to phrase them in a way that invites your angels’ perspective—without handing your decision-making power over to them.
Once you master that, being spiritually guided becomes a way of life that feels empowering, grounded, and truly authentic.
If you’ve ever felt confused, unsure, or even a little disconnected from guidance, I think this video will really land for you.

Your Angels Are Not Here to Tell You What to Do
As always, be gentle with yourself. You’re not doing it wrong. You’re learning how to trust yourself and work with guidance—not give your power away to it.
With love,
